We teach finance the way it actually works

Since 2019, we've been helping professionals understand financial analysis through hands-on learning. No corporate jargon. No theoretical fluff that disappears when you need it. Just practical skills you can apply right away.

Started from frustration with textbook finance

Back in 2019, our founder Caelum Wexford noticed something odd. Students could ace finance exams but froze when asked to analyze a real company's quarterly report. They knew formulas but couldn't spot trouble in actual financial statements.

That gap bothered him. So he started small — weekend workshops for friends working in local businesses. The focus was simple: bring real financial documents and figure them out together. No slides. Just actual numbers and honest discussion about what they meant.

Word spread. More people showed up. By 2021, we had moved into proper classrooms and developed structured programs. But we kept the same approach — real documents, real analysis, real learning.

What guides our teaching

These aren't just words on our website. They shape how we design every lesson and interact with every student.

Real Before Theory

Start with actual financial statements. Then explain the theory behind what you're seeing. Not the other way around. Because when you face real work challenges, theory alone won't help.

Questions Matter

We encourage students to challenge everything we teach. Ask why. Push back. The best learning happens when someone asks a question we didn't expect.

Honest Support

Financial analysis can be confusing. We won't pretend it's easy or promise overnight expertise. But we will stick with you through the difficult parts until concepts click.

How we actually teach

Our method evolved from watching what worked and dropping what didn't. It's less about lectures and more about doing the work together.

1

Start with documents

Each session begins with real financial statements from actual companies. We use recent reports so you're working with current data and formats you'll encounter in real situations.

2

Analyze together

Walk through the analysis step-by-step as a group. Everyone participates. We compare findings and discuss why different people might interpret the same numbers differently.

3

Apply independently

Then you tackle similar analysis on your own with different companies. This is where actual learning happens — when you're figuring it out yourself with support nearby if needed.
